Message from CEO
So many children come to us battered and beaten by circumstances most of us cannot
imagine. We teach these children that they’re not broken, they’re valuable.
It’s a sad statistic: most children who enter the foster care system experience
at least three placements after separation from their family. Most begin this journey
with only the clothes on their backs. This lack of security and permanence undermines
their attempts to form healthy relationships with those few adults who are committed
to providing them with support, confidence and valuable life skills.
At La Paloma Family Services, we commit to the challenge of helping these children
because we understand that consistent relationships with caring adults make a significant
impact on their lives. With counseling, shelter, support and stability, we can help
these at-risk youth.
With your help, we will continue to work every day to provide the resources that
these children so desperately need.
