Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers at La Paloma Family Services provide valuable services to the children and families we serve and receive the satisfaction of personally helping foster, at-risk, and homeless youth work toward successful independent and productive lives.

So we can best assist you in finding an appropriate and fulfilling volunteer opportunity, please take a look at the list below. Whether you fit in a job described below, or have a different special talent that will benefit those we serve, we'd love to hear from you!

All volunteers are required to obtain fingerprint clearance, provide a negative TB test, and sign required volunteer forms before participating in selected activity. Volunteers are directly supervised by an existing staff member.

·        Volunteers needed to clean out & organize storage rooms and sheds.

·        Volunteers needed for yard work.

·        Volunteers needed for meal preparation.

·        Volunteers needed for one-on-one academic tutoring.

·        Volunteers needed to provide 1 to 4 hours of childcare on site.

·        Volunteers needed to provide art, music, and large motor activities on site.
